Lisa Birknes Tavares
            Director

 Lisa is the founding Director of NBYC/ FRYC  and the Deputy Director of PAACA.  She is responsible for grant writing, funding, budgets, program coordination, case management oversight, program design and evaluation.  In addition to her work with Youth Court, Lisa also directly supervises the implementation, progress, evaluation and funding of other PAACA community and school based programs.

Lisa is a member of the Substance Abuse Task Force and the H.O.P.E. Collaborative.  She is the Secretary for the SMILES Board of Directors.  She is a member of the National Youth Court effort.  For the last 16 years, Lisa has served as an elected member to the Dartmouth Park Department.
         Terri Swanson Belliveau
         Assistant Director


Terri is the Youth Programming Coordinator for PAACA, a non-profit agency in the City of New Bedford.  She oversees a variety of school and community based youth prevention programs and initiatives.
Her primary role is the the Assistant Director of New Bedford and Fall River Youth Courts.  She is responsible for the direct oversight of hearing nights, data tracking, case management, referral communication and volunteer recruitment. 

In addition to her work with Youth Court, Terri also oversees the implementation of other school and community based initiatives.  She is PAACA's liaison to Cool Nights, National Night Out, Mentoring Programs in collaboration with SMILES, and the Annual NB Youth Summit .  She is a member of the Substance Abuse Task Force, the H.O.P.E. Collaborative, and CHOICES.

Terri is a graduate of Penn State University with a B.A. in Psychology and Communication.
